Learn more about Auburn Aviation

To learn more about Auburn Aviation, we invite you to visit our campus and facilities.  Aviation tours are led by our Striped Wings Student Ambassadors and available on Mondays and Fridays.  Special arrangements on alternate days may be possible with a two-week notice (to accommodate our student’s schedules).  Tour guests have the opportunity to meet with aviation faculty and staff to learn more about the aviation programs and career opportunities available to students.  Guests also have the option to take a 20-minute Discovery Flight with a FAA-certified flight instructor.  Discovery Flights are $89.00 (cash or check) and introduce you to the basics of flying to include checklist procedures, taxi, takeoff, various flight maneuvers, approach, and landing.  Plan your visit by following the steps below.

Plan Your Visit

To plan your visit, please:

On-campus accommodations are available at the Hotel at Auburn University.  Additional trip planning resources are available from the Auburn and Opelika Tourism Bureau.
